This is the first day of having my very own blog. Wondering how this will enhance the journey I am on? Will this open up a whole new world to me? One never knows. They say "you never know if you'll hit a home run, unless you get up to bat." So
here I am with bat in hand and keys beneath my fingers, urging me on.
I am struggling with creating something new with my art today and every day, actually. I feel so stagnant with what I've been
doing and somehow am finding it hard to be inspired, of late. I know this creative thing is a process and comes in waves and
patience is a virtue, that I have a hard time dealing with. I also know that patience and perservenance are the qualities that will
see me through this rather uninspired time in my life.
I have to laugh a little, having read what I just wrote. I have nothing to complain about really. I'm so grateful to have the luxury
afforded me in being able to devote time to making art and feel so thrilled when someone responds by actually bidding on something I've created.
I have the supreme pleasure of having met so many lovely women through this process. It is so rewarding to exchange ideas
and life with other like minded people.
With this in mind, I invite you to comment in this forum called blogging.
Remembering that it is my belief that "Peace begins with a smile". Pass it on .

- In December 2009, during Art Basel, I wrote my 1st column for SocialMiami.com called Jammin @ Joey's. This then morphed into a weekly Arts Networking Event in June 2010, called Musing @ Morgans. In October of 2010, I changed venues. taking a Studio.Gallery.Salon space UPSTAIRS 6900 Biscayne Boulevard In the Historic MiMo Section of Miami. I officially became "MUSING WITH MYRA" an Arts Networking Event that was held monthly @Wynwood Kitchen & Bar, with a featured Guest Artist, thru May of this year. During this time I created a Street Persona, so to speak...yo MOMMA was born. My goal with this is to create positive messages in the form of Street Art. "It's never to late to have a happy childhood". OBEY yo MOMMA! My goal continues to be promoting The Arts and the Artists that are out there every day making it happen. Taking advantage of all the fabulous opportunities afforded in expanding ones knowledge of The Arts, here in South Florida. MUSING with MYRA will resume again in the Fall. Stay tuned. Would love to see some of your artwork. Maybe you could post a few pictures. I do a little art work myself. I work with glass.
I would love to post some of my artwork. I just have
to figure out how to do this. So far I have met with
frustration only, in attempting to post photo's. I have
an apple computer with iPhoto, but can't figure out what the correct URL is to add to my profile page.
I have some work posted on www.flickr.com/photos/pinkbird and can't figure out how to link this address
to my blog either.
